Why does my computer keep going to the start up menu?

The menu when you have to choose what user to log in as. It goes to that menu if I don’t touch my computer for 10 minutes how do I keep it from doing that?

How to get back leaked memory on your computer?

I’ve been playing warcraft 3 for a couple of months now, on this low-end crappy new computer, and ever since, it freezes a bit, then goes back on. Also ever since i played it, I’ve been receiving more memory dumps and crashes so on. I used regcure, scanned computer, nothing works, so im assuming its due to the loss of memory on my computer. Is there a way to get back the lost memory eaten up while playing warcraft 3?

How do I safely transfer files from infected computer?

As a result of watching streaming video from Tudou, my computer was infected with something that makes IE unusable. Norton 360 didn’t stop it and the Tech guy at Staples couldn’t fix it. I now have a new computer and would like to bring over my MS Office docs, my bookmarks, my ebooks and the like. I do not want to transfer the virus (or whatever) over. What’s the best way to transfer my stuff safely? The new computer is currently running Norton Internet Security.

How can I transfer my resume’ on my old computer onto a newer computer I just bought?

Can leaving a computer plugged in start a fire?

My dad makes me turn off my desktop and unplug it because our house is old and he says it can start a fire.
It’s been making my computer slower and it’s just plain annoying to have to wait for it to start up.
Plus he won’t let me get high speed internet because they have to drill a hole in the wall.

How can I make my computer and the internet go faster?

Just bought a brand new computer on black friday this year [hp]. We also purchased a new Cisco wireless Router. The internet is still going very slow, like the old computer did. what’s the issue and how do i resolve it? i’ve tried restarting the router and reconnecting to the same network.
